Theme parks might not be for everybody. Some of you may also want to stay in Oslo for a few more days. Here are a couple of other suggestions for places you should check out in Oslo!
The Opera Roof
The Norwegian Opera is built with a roof resembling an iceberg. Its purpose is to allow all visitors to walk on it, which is a great way to explore the building and get a great view of the Oslo city harbor! It is also totally free.
Edvard Munch Museum
One of the typical tourist attractions if you’re in the mood for some art!
Here, you can experience the artworks of the Norwegian painter Edvard Munch. Most famously, they show his painting Scream.

Paradox Museum
The Paradox Museum is a fun experience for all ageplayers! They play with your perception and give you plenty of photo opportunities!

Technical Museum
Our technical museum has several exhibitions, showing the technical history of Oslo - trains, planes, factories, computers, and physics demonstrations!

The Royal Palace
Norway is a monarchy. So the Royal Palace is where the King and the Queen live and work.
His Majesty the King’s Guard is tasked with guarding the royal family and residences. Normally, the main changing of the guard happens at 13:30 every day.
The Vigeland Sculpture Park
This is Oslo’s famous sculpture park, with the sculptor Gustav Vigeland’s works.

Brygg Oslo
Are you in the mood for a pub visit? Come here to enjoy a large selection of local and imported goods.
Opening hours: Monday-Thursday 14-01, Friday-Saturday 12-03, Sunday closed.
Oslo Street Food
This is a great option if you’re several people looking for a place to eat, but you want different restaurant styles! With 16 food stands and 4 bars, there are options for everybody, and you can still sit together.

London Pub & Club
Despite its name, this place is in Oslo, and is our oldest and traditional LGBT venue. They have a basement dive bar, and upstairs two dance floors that are open on the weekends.
Are you hungry for more partying after the Saturday Main Ageplay Party at Nonna? If you’re part of the LGBT community, this is one of the places you could go to continue the night!

Scandinavion Leather Men Oslo
Do you have other kinks? SLM is a Men-only fetish bar in Oslo. They are only open during events, typically Fridays and Saturdays. Check their website for the calendar!
Note that there’s a strict dress code for most events.
Hovedøya
You can take the ferry from Rådhusplassen to Hovedøya, or one of the other islands right outside of Oslo. There are plenty of places to go swimming, or just exploring! These islands are a nature getaway for Osloers, where you can get a short summer excursion in just a few hours. The ferry takes 10-15 minutes. However, be prepared to wait in line for a bit, if the weather is nice.
